Kero is the creature who came out of the Clow Book when it was opened by Sakura. He is the gaurdian beast of the Seal, and his job was to watch over the clow cards and to find the next cardcaptor suited to be their master.He is seen as a cute stuffed animal in the beginning of the series, as the story progresses, he morphs into his real and true self. This doesn’t happen until he regains his power from the sun, which is in quite a few cards, but needs cards like fiery and earthy. He has an Osaka accent, which is noticeable with his and Sakura’s first meeting. Hi is a dedicated gamer, and is constantly playing videogames in the Kinomoto residence. In the manga, he even has a Gameboy to take on the go. He loves sweets and doesn’t need to be fed, but will when it’s food the he likes, such as his favourite desert, pudding. He is also very competitive with his rival Suppi. They often fight and send videogame challenges to eachother. Kero often tags along with Sakura in almost any strange event when possible. He knows each card’s personality, and often offers advice to Sakura when needed. He was the one who told Sakura that she had “The Invincible Spell”. |
