Meiling Li

Meiling is Syaoran's cousin and fiancee. She trained hard side by side with Syaoran, learning Marical Arts at a young age. Though she is part of the Li Clan, she posesses no Magical Powers.
At the beginning, Meiling is very protective of Syaoran, and can easily get jelous when he spends too much time with anyone other than herself. She can't really open up to any one of her classmates except for him. Meiling thinks of Sakura as her rival, because she spends so much time with Syaoran.
Later on she warms up to everyone, and is probally the strongest at heart in the end.
Meiling is a pretty good student and an excellent athlete. Her athletic ability really came in handy when she helped capture the Fight card. She also help capture the Twin Card with Syaoran, and the Clould Card when Sakura was ill.
Meiling wasn't shown in the manga, but CLAMP decided (in my opion) to spice up the love plot of the anime. She and Syaoran were engaded at a young age, which made it difficult for Sakura to get close to Syaoran, Later, Meiling gets heartbroken, but she knows its the way things are, and tries to help the other couple thats in love.
