Sonomi Daidouji

Sonomi is the mother of Tomoyo. She is the president of one of the largest toy companies. She sometimes gives samples of her material to Tomoyo, which comes in handy when capturing clow cards. She is usually packed with work, so some days, Tomoyo doesn’t even see her.
Sonomi went to the nationals for the 100-metre dash in high school, and is very competitive in anything she does.
Sonomi was Nadishiko’s cousin, and has been with her since kindergarten. She cared about Nadeshiko a lot, and tried to protect her when she could. She was devastated when she got married, and even more when she died at the age of 26-27.
She even told Tomoyo to grow her hair long because it reminded her of Nadeshiko.
Her husband wasn’t seen in the anime or manga, and neither Sonomi or Tomoya talked about him.
