Syaoran Li

Syaoran is the character that changed the most in both the anime and manga. He seemed pretty cold-hearted, and single minded. He changed after he met Sakura, and she really opened his eyes to life.
Syaoran came to Japan to collect the clow cards, though, while doing so, he attended Tomoeda Elementary. He has magical powers because he is a distant relative of Clow Reed, from his mother’s side of the family.
He is a good student, though he has trouble in Japanese and music. Since he is Chinese, he has to use a Japanese/Chinese Dictionary when reading and writing. He’s good at math, probably because it’s the same thing all around.
Syaoran blushes a lot; he experiences new feeling in Japan that he never did in Hong Kong. His mother has very strong magical powers, and he has 4 older sisters.
He was Sakura’s rival in the beginning, and only thought of her as his competitor. Later, her kind heart altered his thoughts and feelings, he became her friend. Soon enough, he developed his feeling for her.
He helped Sakura capture the clow cards and gave her advice when needed. He protects her, and does whatever he could to be of aid.
